Despite the chilly damp weather, a crowd of more than 200 walkers were on hand to stroll through the streets of Fairfax City on October 2, 2011.

Dogs large and small mixed and mingled and enjoyed music, treats and a nice walk.  

Since 1996, on the first Sunday in October, volunteers and their pets have enjoyed the early fall weather as they walked through the streets of Fairfax.

Paws for a Cause is a fun way for volunteers to gather with their pets in celebration of their volunteer service.
