Would you like to share your loving pet with people who need his love most? Join us as a FPOW volunteer and bring joy to the lives of nursing home residents. As an all-volunteer organization, we rely on people like you. Without you and your pet, we couldn’t touch the lives of thousands of Fairfax area nursing home and assisted-living residents. Join the more than 300 volunteers and their pets who make a difference every day.

Through regular pet visitation, you have an opportunity to share the unconditional love of your pet and improve someone’s quality of life. What can you expect to get out of volunteering with FPOW? You get to spend more time with your pet, and you will both make new friends. Find out what a rewarding experience sharing your pet can be.

FPOW volunteers must be at least 18yrs old. Minor children may volunteer only in conjunction with an adult volunteer and children are not able to handle the pet within the facility.
